Hope For Flowers

Tracy Reese is an American designer celebrated for her rich colors, bold prints, and joyful, feminine designs for modern women. Since launching her namesake brand in New York City in 1996, Reese has built a career spanning over three decades, with successful sub-brandsincluding Plenty, Frock!, and Black Label. Her collections have been featured in leading retailers like Barney’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, and Anthropologie. Reese’s designs have been worn by icons such as First Lady Michelle Obama, who wore a custom TracyReese dress at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, as well asSarah Jessica Parker and Oprah Winfrey.

A longtime member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Reese serves on its Board of Directors and chairs the Sustainable Strategies Committee and the Black Advisory Board. She also serves on boards, including the NEST Artisan Guild and the College for Creative Studies Fashion and Accessory Design, and has advised the United Nations' Conscious Fashion Campaign.

In 2019, Reese relocated to her hometown of Detroit and launched Hope for Flowers by Tracy Reese, a sustainable, responsibly produced brand. Hope for Flowers champions slow fashion, local garment production, and community impact through arts education and apprenticeship programs, empowering Detroit’s underserved communities.
