Maison Black Detroit Launch

Maison Black launched its online retail site in Founder & CEO Tori Nichel's hometown of Detroit in October of 2021. Maison Black brought Manhattan to Motown with a sensational runway presentation featuring six prominent Black designers and native Detroiters as part of the website launch. Maison Black garnered incredible press, amplifying the need for a curated experience of shopping Black designers. Following the launch, Maison Black collaborated with Shinola to host a three-day pop-up experience at Shinola's flagship.
