KIN Apparel is a Black woman-owned clothing brand that merges fashion and hair care through thoughtfully designed apparel that protects all hair types. Founder Philomina Kane’s inspiration began at Princeton University, where stress-related hair loss led her to cut off her hair and begin a healthy hair journey. As it grew back, she struggled to find hoodies and hats that both accommodated and protected her natural hair, so she created KIN.
